Microsoft is giving away two free Visual Basic .NET e-Books:

-          Introducing Visual Basic 2005 for Developers - [Click Here]

While I was browsing their site while downloading my free e-Books, I also noticed that they did another update to their Windows Server System Reference Architecture which is a collection of best practices/recommendations on deploying/maintaining Windows-based Infrastructure. Get it here:

New iTunes 6.0 - Again!?!?!?!?

With Apple’s announcement yesterday of the new iPods that include video support, Apple also introduced iTunes 6.0 which now offers guess what? Video! At $1.99 a pop, Apple is looking to capitalize on their vast marketshare and expand into the next logical evolution. The new iPods are a bit smaller in size, but include a larger screen than previous models. QuickTime Music Videos, Movie Trailers, Pixar Shorts, along with TV Shows from ABC/Disney (like Desperate Housewives and Lost) are now available. There’s a walkthrough on how to transfer DVDs from a Mac to the new iPod located here : http://digitalmusic.weblogsinc.com/entry/1234000680063198. This begs the question, why not just get a Mobile PVR like this one from Archos? http://www.archos.com/products/av_700/index.html. I guess time will tell if Apple is able to duplicate their success with the iPod and video, or if the iPod becomes the next Newton…
